Our Client: A global compounding pharmacy experiencing growth in Australia.
JOB SUMMARY: The main purpose of this position is to increase sales and contribute to
growth by building and strengthening relationships with existing clients and to
identify prospective clients.
¾ Maintaining Existing Accounts and Relationship Building
Attain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit margins.
Process orders, regularly increase business.
Make regular phone calls to customers to check in, follow up and stay in

Communicate with Purchasing department concerning sourced products,

¾ Generate Sales from Inactive and New Customers
Cold call prospective customers, learn about their business and determine
opportunities to create a business relationship.
Promote the company and explain the benefits of products.
Research and identify new potential client options and follow up on referrals
from existing clients.
Open new accounts and provide new customers with opening order
¾ Work collaboratively with Outside Sales Representatives (OSR)
Discuss existing accounts with OSRs and strategize on how to increase
Assist with planning OSRs visits to maximize visibility and account contact.
Provide leads and referrals to visit.
Help OSRs in placing orders and dealing with issues and concerns.
¾ Update knowledge of Industry Trends
Read articles in industry journals and publications to remain knowledgeable.
Research chemical uses and new products to advise customers.
Keep abreast of industry news developments and trends by communication
with clients and other Sales Representatives.
Maintain current statistics on territory demographics, customer locations, new
location openings, sales trends, etc.
¾ Other duties that may be called upon
TRAVEL: One (1) to three (3) weeks per year to visit clients and attend tradeshows.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
x Excellent communication and listening skills; fluent English (written & oral)
required. Basic knowledge of Spanish (oral) is considered an asset
x Advanced interpersonal skills, and proven abilities to network and maintain a
professional and positive image
x Customer focused and results oriented

Education or Formal Training:
x University Degree required. Science background is considered an asset
x Minimum two (2) years’ experience in sales or customer service
