Our Client: A global compounding pharmacy experiencing growth in Australia.

JOB SUMMARY: The main purpose of this position is to increase sales and contribute to
growth by building and strengthening relationships with existing clients and to
identify prospective clients.
JOB DUTIES:
¾ Maintaining Existing Accounts and Relationship Building
ƒ Attain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit margins.
ƒ Process orders, regularly increase business.
ƒ Make regular phone calls to customers to check in, follow up and stay in
contact.
ƒ Schedule follow ups and update calls; collect feedback on products and
samples.
ƒ Help customers build their business by suggesting new revenue sources and
products; identify their needs and offer solutions.
ƒ Communicate with Purchasing department concerning sourced products,
product/inventory transfers and estimated time of arrival (ETA) for large
orders.
ƒ Inform existing customers on specials, promotions, new products and provide
samples.
ƒ Deal with customer complaints by informing the Customer Service
Representatives and following up on the investigation.
ƒ Provide clients with industry news; assist them with any inquiries such as:
product ingredients, Certificates of Analysis, Material Safety Data Sheets,
issues with products, online ordering, etc.

ƒ Verify backorders and communicate with customers once products are
available.
ƒ Provide customers with information on their orders, past invoices, return
policies and tracking orders.

¾ Generate Sales from Inactive and New Customers
ƒ Cold call prospective customers, learn about their business and determine
opportunities to create a business relationship.
ƒ Promote the company and explain the benefits of products.
ƒ Research and identify new potential client options and follow up on referrals
from existing clients.
ƒ Open new accounts and provide new customers with opening order
suggestions.
¾ Work collaboratively with Outside Sales Representatives (OSR)
ƒ Discuss existing accounts with OSRs and strategize on how to increase
business.
ƒ Assist with planning OSRs visits to maximize visibility and account contact.
ƒ Provide leads and referrals to visit.
ƒ Help OSRs in placing orders and dealing with issues and concerns.
¾ Update knowledge of Industry Trends
ƒ Read articles in industry journals and publications to remain knowledgeable.
ƒ Research chemical uses and new products to advise customers.
ƒ Keep abreast of industry news developments and trends by communication
with clients and other Sales Representatives.
ƒ Maintain current statistics on territory demographics, customer locations, new
location openings, sales trends, etc.
¾ Other duties that may be called upon
TRAVEL: One (1) to three (3) weeks per year to visit clients and attend tradeshows.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Competencies:
x Excellent communication and listening skills; fluent English (written & oral)
required. Basic knowledge of Spanish (oral) is considered an asset
x Advanced interpersonal skills, and proven abilities to network and maintain a
professional and positive image
x Customer focused and results oriented
x Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
x Ability to learn and adapt quickly
x Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage stress effectively
x Excellent time management and organizational skills
x Attention to detail is a must
x Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook) required.
Education or Formal Training:
x University Degree required. Science background is considered an asset
Experience:
x Minimum two (2) years’ experience in sales or customer service
Physical Requirements/ Working Environment:
x Standard office/open cubicle environment
x Use of standard office equipment (computer, fax, phone, etc.) required
