We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our client’s Brisbane, Australia office. Reporting to the Regional Manager, Business Development & Client Success – APAC, you will be a key driver to continuing to deliver their Human Performance product line
into the High-Performance Sport and Military Industries.

You will be promoting our client across the APAC regions, ensuring their products are
at the forefront of their client’s minds. You will be responsible for nurturing leads from concept to reality working alongside a professional multidisciplinary team ensuring that you build a solid sales pipeline and exceed sales expectations.

To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality and have a hunger to chase and close new business, from cold calls to inbound leads.

The Business Development team is a focused group of multi-disciplinary sales professionals with the core goal of exploring opportunities, establishing potential new clients and enriching the overall experience of their current client base. This team is responsible for the total revenue of
the company, their core human performance product retention rate, and plays a crucial role in innovation feedback to the development teams.

Business Development Managers are responsible for selling their products and have direct accountability for achieving their quotas in sales and in turn, enjoy a competitive base salary and commission structure. The purpose of the role is to continue to expand and build their current client base within the APAC region.

Role Responsibilities
– Meet and exceed sales goals
– Promote and seek new opportunities for products in the APAC region
– Manage sales opportunities from lead generation to closure
– Provide live product demonstrations for all products
– Maintain and leverage the company’s relationship with existing customers and to promote new company products to existing customers
– Report and communicate specific required sales metrics

Who are you?
– Experienced and self-driven sales professional
– Highly determined salesperson who lives and breathes sales and revenue creation
– Clearly understands and able to develop effective sales process to exceed all personal and company sales targets
– Posses 3 or more years of industry expertise in the B2B Human Performance market (preferred)
– Demonstrated experience selling to professional sporting teams and Olympic sports organisations, with a proven track record of closing deals (preferred).
– Working understanding of sports science and human performance
– Clear understanding of the requirements of High Performance coaches and support teams
– You are flexible and willing to travel 25-40% of the month

What skills will you bring?
– Ability to develop a sales pipeline that will include outbound hunting as well as incoming lead management
– Execute the sales process to close new accounts, meet and exceed your sales quota
– 3+ years experience selling B2B in technology and/or SaaS
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Highly developed organisational and attention to detail
– Excellent relationship management skills
– An understanding and affinity within the Australian sports market (such as government institutes, national sporting leagues)
– Resilience and Persistence
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a clear presence
– Savvy networker
– Proactive lead generator, a hunter in the field
– Demonstrable decision making skills
