Our client’s Melbourne, Tech & Transformation division is looking for people who are keen engagers, with experience in either sales, business development, professional services/consulting or recruitment.

Their team is made up of high performers from various backgrounds (they even have an ex Olympic Rower!), giving them ability to learn from each other and contribute to each others success.

Their role involves managing the recruitment process from start to finish, providing an exceptional level of service to clients and candidates alike. They have a broad range of business development and networking activities and methodologies to help them build strong client relationships and attract new business.

At the same time, they create and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates that they really care, always striving to get the best result for both candidate and client.

Their Tech & Transformation team are genuinely a part of our dedicated industries, and they host various events, webinars and other content that grows their network and solidifies their credibility. Notable events recently have been their AI & Automation whitepaper which included a panel discussion with some of Melbourne’s top professionals in the domain.

What will you be doing?

  • Identifying business opportunities by speaking to clients and candidates as well as through keeping up to date with industry developments
  • Exceed client expectations by building robust relationships and having a detailed understanding of each client’s organisational needs. This can be through a variety of ways, including many coffees and lunches!
  • Having a wide understanding of market trends and being able to consult back to your clients, creating recruitment solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • Source, select and match candidates with appropriate roles, introducing quality candidates for suitable roles, helping candidates find the best match for the long term.
  • Arrange interviews, ensuring candidates are fully prepared, providing regular communications and feedback
  • Involvement with events, webinars, general content that your sector is truly interested in

What type of person do you need to be?

To join our client as a Tech Recruitment Consultant, your skills and experience should include, but are not limited to:

  • Driven – you need to want to succeed through hard work and honing your skills over time, with the support of the wider team and your manager
  • Relationship focused – able to quickly become a trusted advisor through a combination of credibility and personality
  • Entrepreneurial – enjoy being able to own your specialism and make what you want out of it
