Specific Responsibilities
Candidates
- Go through Advertisement response and select candidates to interview.
- Send Candidates an email detailing information needed for interview.
- Organise re-format of resume.
- Interview Candidates to identify their skills and experience and what they are looking for.
- Brief Candidates on suitable jobs.
- Assist Candidates with interview preparation, writing a resume, counteroffers, salary advice where necessary.
- Conduct Reference checks – peer, manager, subordinate.
- Assist Candidates in making the right career decision and offer a non-biased approach.
- Offer Career Advice and provide sounding board for candidate issues.
- Put in place a calling plan, e.g., a call every 4-6 months to track candidates progress and to keep them updated on the job market.
- Develop long-term relationships with all Candidates.
- Gain Referrals from Candidates.
- Convert Candidates into Clients.
Clients
- Identify an industry sub type and develop target clients to call.
- Conduct Marketing Calls to new Clients to introduce our firm.
- Conduct Marketing Calls to new and current Clients introducing a Candidate whose skills may be of interest.
- Arrange Business Meetings with new and existing clients to ascertain their current and future
- recruitment requirements.
- Promote business events to current and new Clients.
- Develop relationships with Clients based on the Client’s needs and expectations.
- Continue to build relationships by calling Clients on an agreed date and time or every 3 months as a minimum.
Jobs
- Organise a Client Visit to take down the details of the job in person, find out why the role has become available, what the culture is like and what sort of person is required.
- Discuss and explain RL’s terms of business and get client to sign Terms of Business once in agreement of fees.
- Enter Job details onto Database and conduct search of possible candidates along with speaking to team about possible candidates.
- Compile a shortlist and submit to client.
- Brief Candidates on the Interview process and structure.
- Discuss shortlisted candidates with clients using your negotiation skills to encourage the Client to interview those you recommend.
- Following the interviews, take feedback on each candidate’s Interview Performance and pass that on to the Candidates.
- After a successful job offer from the Client, conduct Reference checks.
- Relay job offer to Candidate and gain their acceptance.
- Organize Contract of employment and letter of offer to candidate.
- Follow up Candidate on progress of role when started in new role.
- Continue to keep in regular touch with the Candidate.
Internally
- Devise strategy to maintain a strong flow of jobs and candidates at all times.
- Work as part of a team to hit personal and team revenue goals.
- Keep team informed of leads and other pertinent information regarding current or potential clients and candidates.
- Assist the Temporary Recruitment team in establishing and increasing their business.
- Be always polite and courteous to all colleagues.
