Conversionry is APAC's leading Conversion Optimisation (CRO) & Ecommerce Experimentation agency. We partner with leading Australian and international brands and help them scale their revenue by making data and evidence the priority, eliminating gut-feel and delivering world class CRO and Experimentation programs.

Your New Opportunity:

 

To fuel our continued growth, we’re looking for a hunter with a proven history in winning new business at an agency, who thrives on new brands. In partnership with the leadership team, the Account Executive will lead all NEW business development opportunities, from identifying and sourcing strategic new pitch opportunities to owning the nuts and bolts of agency storytelling, sales timelines and presentations.

 

This is an opportunity for a doer to shape the client roster and create rigor around the sales process.

 

We have an incredible product that creates tangible revenue for Ecommerce and Saas brands. It creates raving fans out of clients we work with. So this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help brands believe in the power of CRO/Experimentation and enjoys seeing it in action.

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, this person will drive new business targets, while also raising the agency’s profile across the industry through input on brand marketing and PR strategies. 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

New Business Growth: (80% of role)

  • Creating strategies to drive new pipeline of business opportunities across ANZ, North America and new markets, while fielding opportunities from existing marketing efforts

  • Conducting all aspects of new business development- from Prospecting, Qualification through to pitch, negotiation and close

  • Aligning with the leadership team on targeted services, strong value propositions, pricing, process and support structure to drive growth

  • Developing a deep working knowledge of CRO & Experimentation and how our products help scale Ecommerce and Saas brands, always translating into your presentations 

  • Being a spokesperson for the agency, attending conferences and other industry events

 

Existing Account Retention & Growth: (20% of role)

  • Ensuring successful onboarding of all new clients- overseeing initial overarching strategy, collaboration process, client interactions and performance are off to a healthy start

  • Developing strong relationships with Senior level client stakeholders, with the aim of retention and growing the portfolio

  • Serving as a point of escalation for all clients within your portfolio - understanding when to step-in with a client, coach the team to mitigate issues

  • Identify upsell opportunities across all agency offerings and execute on those opportunities to grow revenue on existing clients

 

What we’re looking for:

 

We are looking for someone who has:

 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Development Manager, Strategist or Account Executive driving new business targets 

  • Agency experience is a must

  • Proven track record of achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets & KPI’s

  • Great storyteller who can formulate strong narratives about our capabilities and historical achievements and translate them into pitch presentations and agency marketing needs

  • Team player, great at relationship-building, able to troubleshoot timing constraints and communicate across teams with clarity and diplomacy

  • Strong understanding of the CRO/Experimentation project lifecycle, including strategy, Analysis/Research, Design/UX, Development, Testing and project management processes

  • Understanding of experimentation technologies & tools (like Optimizely, Google Optimize, AB Tasty, etc)

  • A forward-facing view of where the market is going and ambitions to develop our offering to match the changing digital landscape

  • Growth focussed, highly ambitious and go-getter with drive, determination and resilience
