Position: Sales Partnerships Manager

Location: North Sydney

Salary: Up to $130,000 base + commission (OTE $300,000+)

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and cultivate strong relationships with leading brands.

Role Overview:

As a BDM, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with brands eager to reach audiences across sport, entertainment, and gaming. You will drive the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, while maintaining strong connections with rights holders to ensure optimal brand partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales:

    • Prospect, identify, and engage new brands interested in reaching audiences within the Sport, Gaming, and Entertainment sectors.
    • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals and ensuring successful partnership activation.
    • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets to drive revenue growth across our portfolio.
  • Partnership Management:

    • Build and nurture strong relationships with both brands and rights holders to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to brands, understanding their marketing goals and aligning them with suitable rights holders.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals that meet client needs and showcase our unique audience engagement opportunities.
  • Market & Industry Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about trends, audience behaviors, and emerging opportunities within Sport, Gaming, and Entertainment.
    • Use market insights to develop and present strategic partnership solutions that drive brand engagement and loyalty.
    • Continuously explore new partnership ideas and sales strategies to remain competitive in a dynamic market.

Key Outcomes:

  • Drive revenue growth by establishing new partnerships and securing sponsorship deals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of brand prospects within target sectors.
  • Achieve sales KPIs and contribute to overall business goals.
  • Foster long-term relationships with rights holders to ensure ongoing partnership opportunities.
  • Deliver value to clients through strategic, innovative, and effective partnership solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably within advertising, media, or partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the Sport, Gaming, and Entertainment industries, with experience in building relationships with brands targeting these audiences.
  • Strong grasp of advertising and marketing, with the ability to translate brand goals into strategic partnerships.
  • A demonstrated network and client base within relevant sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and highly organized, with a hunger for new business and closing deals.
