Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth during this exciting scale-up phase. You will leverage your network in e-commerce or large retail brands to identify opportunities, close deals, and drive revenue. This is an autonomous role for a motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual who thrives in a results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within mid-enterprise e-commerce and retail brands.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct outreach and follow-ups to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our payment gateway solutions.

Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in e-commerce and retail businesses.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ needs and delivering tailored payment solutions to meet their objectives.

Market Strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in the payments and e-commerce sectors.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to refine go-to-market strategies and identify new market opportunities.

Results-Driven Approach:
- Work autonomously, taking ownership of your role while being accountable for bringing in results.
- Deliver compelling presentations and close deals to achieve uncapped earning potential.
Key Outcomes:
- Exceed individual sales KPIs and revenue targets.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the fintech, payments, or e-commerce sectors.
- Established network of contacts within e-commerce or large retail brands.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid work environment while driving results.
