TITLE: Regional Manager
REPORTING TO: General Manager
OBJECTIVE:
The primary objective is the management and coordination of the Branch, to ensure financial and safety targets are met and/or exceeded, through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Deliver and coordinate sales, recruitment and service activity as per set budget;
• Communicate with all clients (present and supplied within the past 6 months) on a regular basis to ensure that service levels are appropriate for Tecside to maintain and develop a business relationship with them;
• Ensure that all employees work in accordance with the SOPs;
• Promptly handle and resolve customer complaints;
• Manage and authorise charge quotations which fall outside of the SOPs;
• Coordinate structured advertising and recruitment activity to meet the workforce needs of clients;
• Monitor and audit compliance to and effectiveness of the recruitment processes undertaken;
• Ensure that staff maintain risk management protocols, worker education and on-site communication processes (incl Tool Box Talks);
• Investigate all incidences and accidents as per the SOPs, reporting finding and communicating, where appropriate, with clients, workers and management in order to avoid re-occurrences;
• Ensure all new employees are inducted as per the Induction Program;
• Review employee training needs and deliver internal training (where appropriate) or organise external training with the Human Resources department;
• Undertake employee performance reviews in accordance with the Probation and Performance and Development Review (PDR) processes;
• Authorise the distribution of Quarterly Bonuses following guidelines as provided;
• Set targets, performance manage and coordinate the career development of employees;
• Review payroll reports and timesheets weekly to ensure that administrators have accurately and appropriately paid workers and charged clients;
• Approve supplier invoices and allocate costs;
• Develop and maintain a ‘second in charge’ team member who can take responsibility for the branch when absent;
• Contribute to the management team and its efforts to develop the businesses internal and external procedures, standards and profile;
• Follow instructions and all procedures as documented in the Tecside Safety Management System;
• To ensure safety remains a paramount obligation, each Manager is required to complete an annual WHS plan and ensure the branch moves towards achieving documented targets; and
• Any other duties which are generally and reasonably regarded to fall within the scope of running the branch.
MEASUREMENT:
• % Net Profit return (in-line with budget);
• New clients generated;
• Zero Injuries; and
• Delivery of PDRs in line with Tecside’s PDR process.
