About the role
As an Account Manager your commercial experience will be showcased through building strong long-term relationships with your customer base. Your role will be to retain and grow revenue from existing clients and follow through on commitments made by advocating for your customers.
  
Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing strategic account management, through the development of effective and influential customer engagement.
  • Developing a trusted advisory relationship with key stakeholders across the customers organisation.
  • Managing of the end-to-end sales process from opportunity identification to close using their sales methodology.
  • Maintaining existing revenue and win incremental business with designated customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service with quick response times.
  • Building and managing an effective sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
  • Influencing and educating customers on products, vision and value proposition.
  • Maintaining Salesforce accuracy (record every opportunity early, maintaining contact details and file/case/conversation notes.

About success in this role
You’re passionate about understanding the customer and put the customer first in everything that they do. Your deep understanding and practical experience in a similar Sales Account Management role within sale will determine success in this role. Additionally, you’ll bring to this role:

  • Proven sales experience working in a customer facing role within the IT/Telecoms Industry or related sales environment.
  • Solid solution selling experience within complex product portfolios.
  • Strong track record of exceeding specified targets/KPI’s.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills; with the ability to lead commercial conversations and leverage data insights to drive continuous improvement, sustainable sales and revenue growth to drive customer centric decision making.
  • Ability to collaborate with the business and partner to lead the identification and delivery of sales solution outcomes.
  • Proficient Sales Strategy & Management; considering risks, rewards and execute sales strategy accordingly.
  • Experience in proposal writing, pitching, and closing swiftly and confidently.
  • Significant commercial and technological insight that creates opportunities for business improvement and customers.
